Today was heavy lift day with (7) 1-rep sets of deadlift. After warming up at lower weights, I did the following:
255-255-275-275-280(new PR)-255-255
I hit a new personal record of 280. Hope to see this at 300lbs by summer. There are some great lecture on Crossfit sites for correct form which have helped me tremendously. Especially information on core midline stabilization. It really takes the load off of your lower back.

Glassman had a good comment in one of the videos that cyclists see a big benefit from deadlifts, especially when it comes to hill climbs.
